Studio Pagliula Associato Ingegneri e Architetti <\/b>\u2013 SPeA was founded in 2017 by partners and sisters Eng. Serena Pagliula and Arch. Alessandra Pagliula<\/b> with the purpose of providing engineering and architecture services to public and private clients.<\/b><\/p>\n

SPeA operates primarily in sectors related to sustainable architecture and energy efficiency<\/b>, urban planning for energy and climate, renovation of historic buildings, and interior design.nts.<\/p>\n

SPeA\u2019s guiding principles are innovation and sustainability<\/b>, driven by professionalism and ethics in action.<\/p>\n

SPeA carries out its professional services primarily in Italy and boasts activities and collaborations also in European contexts.<\/p>\n

The partners of SPeA are very attentive to pursuing professional development at research institutions and universities<\/b>, in order to operate with cutting-edge tools and in line with current local and community regulations.<\/p>\n

In 2010, she earned a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Salento, followed in 2012 by a Master\u2019s Degree in Building Systems Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, with a thesis developed at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm focusing on smart cities and urban energy planning.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2012 to 2017, she worked at RINA Consulting on European projects focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable cities, developing an integrated approach to the energy transition that connects buildings, cities, energy and climate.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, she co-founded Studio Pagliula Associato Ingegneri e Architetti<\/b>, where she works on building energy efficiency, renewable energy, urban energy and climate planning, and environmental sustainability<\/b>, with particular expertise in developing energy and climate strategies and plans for public authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024, she earned a PhD in Architecture and Design Cultures from the University of Bologna<\/b>, focusing her research on governance and energy planning tools for tackling energy poverty<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is a certified Energy Management Expert (EGE) in accordance with UNI CEI 11339<\/b>, <\/b>an ITACA Protocol Expert, and is qualified to act as a Health and Safety Coordinator pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 81\/2008. 81\/2008.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2015, she earned a Master\u2019s Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo at the University of Bras\u00edlia, followed in 2016 by a Master\u2019s Degree in Architecture for Sustainable Design from the Politecnico di Torino.<\/p>\n

Her academic background in Brazil and Italy, together with her subsequent professional experience in urban planning and mobility<\/b>, has shaped a design approach focused on the relationship between domestic space, buildings and the urban context<\/b>. Her vision of living extends beyond interior spaces to consider how they interact with the city, public spaces, services and the wider territory. <\/p>\n

In 2017, she co-founded Studio Pagliula Associato Ingegneri e Architetti,<\/b> where she develops this approach through projects combining architecture, interior design, building renovation and energy efficiency,<\/b> with particular expertise in the restoration and adaptive reuse of historic buildings and in projects involving public and private properties, including listed buildings and properties subject to heritage protection.<\/p>\n

It is certified as an Energy Management Expert (EGE) in accordance with UNI CEI 11339 <\/b>and is qualified to act as Safety Coordinator during the design and execution phases pursuant to the Legislative Decree. 81\/2008.<\/p>\n
